Our Lady of Fatima
The Benedictine Monastery of Thien Tam (HEAVENLY HEART) welcomes the United Nations International World Apostolate of Fatima Pilgrim Statue and the First Class Relics of Blessed Jacinta and Blessed Francesco to our Blessed Sacrament Day – VIII (June 8 – 11, 2017).
On December 8, 1952, this statue was brought to the United Nations in New York from Fatima, Portugal. The statue was placed in the Meditation Room where Father Harold Colgan, founder of the World Apostolate of Fatima, led recitation of the Rosary. The statue has traveled throughout the United States and various countries. Mrs. Judith Studer, Custodian of the UN Pilgrim Virgin (Rhode Island Division of World Apostolate of Fatima), will visit our Benedictine Monastery of Thien Tam this June.
CELEBRATING HER CENTENNIAL. ALL VISITORS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLACE THEIR PRAYER PETITIONS IN A BASKET. THESE PETITIONS WILL BE PERSONALLY BROUGHT TO FATIMA, PORTUGAL AND PLACED ON THE APPARITION SITE CHAPEL WHERE OUR LADY OF FATIMA APPEARED TO THE THREE CHILDREN IN 1917.
Mrs. Studer will be hosting several Marian Conferences and will be available to answer questions.
